How do I know which plan is right for me?

It depends on who needs coverage and where they're traveling. Visitors to the USA (like parents) need a Visitors Insurance plan. U.S. citizens going abroad need International Travel insurance. Yes — this is one of the most common plans we provide. Our Visitors to USA plans cover parents, in-laws, and other relatives for emergency medical, hospitalization, and doctor visits while they're in the U.S. Coverage can start as soon as the same day.

Coverage can begin the same day you purchase — even immediately in many cases. You choose your start date when you get your quote. Just make sure to purchase before your trip begins.

Is a Schengen visa insurance certificate included?

Yes. All our Schengen plans are visa-compliant and include an official insurance certificate you can present to the embassy. The certificate is issued instantly after purchase.

What if I have a pre-existing medical condition?

Many of our plans offer optional coverage for acute onset of pre-existing conditions — meaning sudden, unexpected flare-ups are covered up to the policy limits. Some plans offer Look-Back period waivers. We recommend comparing plans carefully and calling us if you have specific conditions to discuss.

Are there age limits for coverage?

Most plans cover travelers up to age 99, though premiums increase with age and some plans have upper age limits (typically 70 or 80) for certain benefits. When you enter your age in the quote form, only eligible plans will be shown.
